I am Retselisitsoe Ramofolo ("Manyo"). I was born in South Africa in a place called Alberton in 1975. I moved to Lesotho where my sister who has three children raised me. At the age of nine we moved to Denmark where her husband worked at the Lesotho Embassy for four years. That is where I developed an interest in arts and crafts.

Back in Lesotho I completed my matric (high school degree) and moved to South Africa, where I did my Diploma in Child Psychology, which was my second option after failing to get sponsorship from the government. I moved to Cape Town where I started sewing for flea markets and developed an interest in African antiques. A year later, I moved to Namibia where I started trading in antiques.

In 2002 I moved back to Lesotho where I started sewing bags again due to a high unemployment rate. I started selling the bags at flea markets after realising their potential. I am hoping to enroll in a program in fashion design and pattern cutting in order to improve my skills.

My bags are made out of corduroy, denim and African prints. Some are embroidered by hand, while others are machine-embroidered. Some bags also incorporate fabric painted panels.
