Dickson Eddie Afeamenyo
Kente weaver, Ghana
Dickson "Eddie" Afeamenyo is from Kpetoe, a famous Kente weaving village in Ghana. He is Ewe and now lives in Nungua, a suburb of Accra where he works with a group of Ewe weavers creating beautiful pieces of cloth.

Eddie can copy old patterns or create new ones. He enjoys the challenge of finding ways to keep the integrity of kente, while finding new interpretations like mens ties, hats, bedspreads and place mats. Eddie left Kpetoe to find new customers in the greater Accra area and he has successfully found an interested tourist market.
